I’m looking to replace my cordless phones with the DECT technology. I don’t need the answering system but i can’t find a phone system that doesn’t have it. Are all the new phones coming w/ answering systems now?

are there any alarm systems in canada that automatically phone the police that you dont have to buy through a company? like I know you can buy those systems that alert you that a door has been opened but are there any that call 911?
